ESG has seen a global rise in prominence over the years, with multinational institutions, organizations, and regulators continuously developing and promoting standards and practices in support of ESG principles. Along with this notable rise, BPI has concurrently grown to become a recognized leader in the space having adhered to stringent standards and having adopted sustainable practices.

BPI is a member of the FTSE4Good Index Series, a series of indexes for ESG investors. We are also the only Philippine bank to participate in the 2021 CDP Pilot Questionnaire on Climate and Forests, and one of the first banks in the region to disclose on our forest impacts.
